Press ReleaseORLANDO -- Just like they have done throughout this week at the 2009 Orlando Pro Summer League, Tyler Hansbrough and Roy Hibbert prevailed against the competition.
The two interior forces combined for 45 points (Hansbrough 24, Hibbert 21) and 13 rebounds, a day after uniting for 47 and 12, as the Indiana Pacers cruised past the Utah Jazz, 95-79, to remain perfect (3-0) on Wednesday.
Most impressive perhaps was their extraordinary free throw shooting. Known as a reliable shooter at the line while in college, Hansbrough nailed all 14 of his attempts. Hibbert, just 67 percent from the stripe during his rookie season, didn't disappoint either, going 5-of-7.
Indiana took 20 more foul shots than Utah and also outscored it on fast break points, 10-8.
Other standout performers included A.J. Price and Will Blalock, who together collected 22 points for the Pacers.
James Augustine led the Jazz, who dropped to 1-2, with 12 points and five rebounds, while Derrick Brown and Josh Duncan each scored 10.
Indiana will next challenge Boston on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET, while Utah and Orlando will precede at 5 p.m.
