Press releaseProvo -- Former Utah Flash guards Kevin Kruger and Andre Ingram will join the Utah Jazz in the 2009 Orlando Pro Summer League Jazz General Manager Kevin O'Connor announced Tuesday evening.

Both Kruger and Ingram will be in attendance as the Jazz summer squad opens its mini-camp today at the RDV SportsPlex in Maitland, Florida in preparation for the July 6 opening of the five-day, 15 game Orlando summer league.

The Jazz summer squad will open up play at 5 p.m. MT on July 6 with a matchup against the Boston Celtics summer team.

"Kevin and Andre have been great contributors to the Flash," Flash owner Brandt Andersen said. "Their involvement on the Jazz summer league team is proof that the D-League opens doors for up-and-coming players. I am certain their professionalism and work ethic will impress the Jazz coaches and staff."

Both Kruger and Ingram helped lead the Flash to the NBA Development League Finals where Utah was defeated by the Colorado 14ers.

Kruger appeared in 21 regular season games (16 starts) for the Flash last season where he averaged 11.4 points per game while handing out 4.3 assists per contest.

Ingram saw action in 49 (20 starts) of the Flash's 50 regular season games—averaging 10.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Ingram also finished the D-League season fourth in the league in three-point shooting, knocking down 47-percent (87-of-185) of his shots from beyond the arc.

Kruger and Ingram will be joined by Jazz second-year player Kosta Koufos in Orlando. Koufos appeared in 10 games for the Flash last season on assignment from the Jazz where he averaged 16.7 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game.
