CHICAGO (AFX) - Media conglomerate Tribune Co. on Monday said October sales dipped 1 percent compared with the same period last year.
Revenue of $427.7 million compared with last year's $432.1 million. National advertising sales fell 15.5 percent to $56.2 million from $66.6 million. Circulation revenue slid to $43.1 million from $45.9 million due largely to continued home delivery discounts.
Broadcasting and entertainment group sales rose to $110.8 million from $102.2 million in October 2005.
