SALT LAKE CITY (November 14, 2006) -Utah Jazz sr. vice president of basketball operations, Kevin O'Connor, announced today that the team has requested waivers on guard Brian Chase.
The 5-9 guard out of Virginia Tech was signed by the Jazz on October 2, 2006 and was on the inactive list for all seven games this season. He played in eight preseason games for the Jazz and averaged 5.9 points in 8.8 minutes.
The Jazz roster now stands at 14.
