PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Shawnee Slade and Mallary Gillespie each had 10 points to lead No. 24 BYU to a 73-50 victory over Idaho State on Friday night in the first round of the preseason WNIT.
The Cougars advanced to the second round Monday night at No. 4 Stanford.
Natalie Doma had 14 points and added 11 rebounds for the Bengals, the Big Sky Conference regular-season champions from last year.
