LOS ANGELES, Nov 7, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Operation of Hope, a charitable organization serving children, will honor Bianca Jagger and Brenda Hampton at its gala in Los Angeles on Nov. 19.
Jagger will be presented with the organization's "Lifetime Achievement Award" for her work in global advocacy. Hampton, the creator and executive producer of the TV series "7th Heaven" will be honored with the "Vision Award" for her worldwide philanthropic work she's done on behalf of children.
The United States-based Operation of Hope has traveled to Africa and South America donating operations for children born with cleft palates.
The gala will be hosted by Alex Quinn, son of late actor Anthony Quinn.
