Utah quarterback Brett Ratliff was named the MWC co-Offensive Player of the Week for his part in Utah's 45-23 victory over UNLV. He shares the weekly offensive award with BYU's John Beck. Ratliff completed 19-of-23 passes for 268 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions, and also rushed for a two-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Ratliff connected on all nine of his second-half pass attempts and finished the game with a streak of 10 consecutive completions. His 268 passing yards marked his highest output against a MWC opponent and marked his sixth 200-yard game in 11 career starts. It is the second MWC weekly award in Ratliff's career: Last year he was honored after leading Utah to a victory over BYU in his first career start.
