Beloved movie legend JAMES STEWART and jazz and blues great ELLA FITZGERALD are to join Marvel comic book characters like SUPERMAN and THE INCREDIBLE HULK on US stamps in 2007.
IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE star Stewart will be honoured on the 13th Legends of Hollywood stamp, while Fitzgerald is next year's honoree in the Black Heritage series.
Joining the two stars and the comic book characters on official stamps will be poet HENRY WADSWORTH LONGFELLOW and DISNEY characters DUMBO, PETER PAN and ALADDIN. (KL/LA/MEH)
