PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Zach Randolph scored 17 of his 22 points in the third quarter to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 114-110 exhibition victory over the Utah Jazz on Monday night.
Deron Williams had 24 points and seven assists for the Jazz. Carlos Boozer had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and led Utah back from a 13-point deficit with 11 fourth-quarter points.
Jarrett Jack scored 21 points and Juan Dixon added 19 for the Blazers.
Playing with five fouls, Boozer scored eight of Utah's last 12 points, but Jack and Dixon combined to go 6-of-6 from the free throw line in the last 23.2 seconds to help Portland hold on.
The Blazers led 89-76 at the start of the fourth quarter, thanks to a big third period from Randolph. With Boozer on the bench in foul trouble, Randolph took advantage of a mismatch with Utah rookie Paul Millsap, drawing fouls and scoring down low. He finished 12-of-15 from the line.
Portland led by as many as nine in the first half, going up 48-39 on a 3-pointer from Travis Outlaw.
Utah tied the game at 61 early in the second half, but the Blazers went on a 10-2 run to make it 71-63.
Outlaw had all of his 16 points in the first half for Portland. Matt Harpring finished with 13 points for Utah.
The Blazers' Martell Webster did not dress because of back spasms. Utah added Hiram Fuller to its roster before the game.
