There are reports that some Republican governors are going to refuse the stimulus money. ABC Political Consultant Steve Roberts says some governors are concerned about the strings tied to the money - and some will likely be running for president in the next election - so there is some politics in their decision. Steve also talked about President Obama sending his first budget to Congress on Thursday. Steve warned that any peace dividend that might come from bringing troops home from Iraq will be mitigated by the needs in Afghanistan.
