Actress Isabel Bigley Barnett dies

Tony Award-winning actress ISABEL BIGLEY BARNETT has died of pulmonary disease in Los Angeles. She was 80.

Barnett passed away on Saturday (30SEP06) at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Her funeral will be held in Beverly Hills this Saturday (07OCT06).

Born in the Bronx in New York City, Barnett played the original SARAH BROWN in GUYS AND DOLLS on Broadway between 1950 and 1953. She won a Tony Award for her performance.

Barnett is survived by her husband, six children, 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. (GES/LAT/SH)
