(Camarillo, California-AP) -- In the biggest two-week decline in pump prices since October, gas fell six cents a gallon nationwide over the past two weeks.

Analyst Trilby Lundberg says increased certainty about Middle East oil supplies brought falling crude oil prices, which helped lower the retail price.

The latest Lundberg survey put the nationwide average price, including all grades and taxes, at about one dollar, 70 cents a gallon. That's down just over six cents from the March 21st survey.

Lundberg expects the price to continue to fall in the near term.
