WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Sep 26, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- A South Florida university has joined a national trend -- newsletters distributed in the campus johns.
Palm Beach Atlantic University's "Stall Talk" joins a host of other campus news sheets, both in its bathroom distribution and its punning nickname, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. Whitworth College in Spokane, Wash., has "The Stall Street Journal," students read "Flush Facts" at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tenn., and "Installations" is published by the library at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Palm Beach Atlantic senior Sheena Cunningham said she finds "Stall Talk" convenient because she is often too busy to read the regular campus newspaper.
"Everyone goes to the bathroom," she said. "It's right there. You have no other choice but to read it."
