HE'EIA, Hawaii — The rainy season can sometimes be a real drag in Hawaii.

I have fond memories of the 43 days of continuous wet weather that drenched the 50th State in 2006, but even a two-day winter storm can cause havoc in the islands.

That said, you've got to find the good in it somehow, like this surfer did along the flooded roads of He'eia in Kaneohe on Saturday:

For anyone who's had their trip washed out by a winter storm in Hawaii, I would bet you just seeing this would make everything worth it.

And the fact the guy didn't even need a tow? That's more impressive.
