SLC Puck: 'Spicy Tuna,' Utah heating up ahead of critical early stretch

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Mammoth forward Liam O'Brien has been a fan favorite from Day 1.

SLC Puck host Austin Facer believes "Spicy Tuna" might be playing his best hockey yet as a member of the club. O'Brien cashed in on a greasy goal against San Jose and dropped the mitts for a fight against Boston. Both of those moments have energized Utah as part of the Mammoth's three-game win streak.

It also hasn't hurt that Nick Schmaltz and Clayton Keller have combined for 12 points in the last two games. That, plus the existence of "Tusky Magic," and a look ahead to a daunting stretch in the schedule in this episode of SLC Puck.

SLC Puck! is a twice-weekly podcast on Utah's hockey scene hosted by local hockey expert Austin Facer. You can subscribe to SLC Puck's YouTube channel here.
