AT THE TRACK — Plenty of NBA fans have joked that three-time MVP Nikola Jokic treats basketball like his day job, and now we might have a better understanding as to why.

Footage went viral this week of the Denver Nuggets' superstar crying and running onto the race track to congratulate his horse and driver after winning a race in his native Serbia.

The horse, Demon Dell'Est, won the annual Duzijanac event in Subotica, Serbia. Jokic has had a deep love for horses ever since his parents took him to his first race in his hometown at 12 years old.

The 2023 NBA champion and seven-time All-Star is expected to lead Serbia in the upcoming Eurobasket tournament starting on Aug. 27.
