FARMINGTON — We all know the drill: "Keep your hands, arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times." One Lagoon rider found that she may need a reminder to keep her phone inside the vehicle, too.

This unlucky rider found her phone slipping out from under her while on Lagoon's fan-favorite thrill ride, Cannibal.

The entire debacle is captured on camera in the now-viral video filmed by her friend. It shows the phone sliding out during the first drop on the ride, hovering above the girls for a few seconds before heartbreakingly plummeting to the earth.

Watching her expression as she realizes her phone is gone is equally relatable and gut-wrenching. The conversation between her and her friend heightens, showing the terror of realizing the phone has just slipped out of her pocket. "Maren, I don't have my phone," says all you need to know about the experience.

It's never a fun feeling.

As someone who has felt the panic of my phone slipping away on a ride, this video brought it all back. So, consider this a reminder: The next time you hop on a roller coaster, make sure you put your phone somewhere secure — locker, pocket, bag, you name it. If you don't, your phone might just become the next viral internet star.
