The driving force behind most great work is significant pressure. This adage has long rung true for innovators, leaders and specialists. For Oz Marketing, it served as a mantra behind their 2024 efforts.
A full-service ad agency most known for their work with the Young Automotive Group, the company was tasked with making the dealership group's 100 year anniversary iconic. Their success in this endeavor involved avant-garde billboard displays, commercials centered on family values, multiple press efforts and even a parade float.
While the year may be over, Oz Marketing's run of achievements continues. During quarter one of 2025, they onboarded new clients, led award-winning endeavors and posted record numbers for media pickups. That said, no recent accomplishment may be more noteworthy than a status change — one that established the agency as a Google Premier Partner.
"This distinction speaks to the significance of our progress," said Sascha Draper, marketing director at Oz Marketing. "For years, we've been focused on establishing impactful processes and developing an elite team of experts. Our best moments are ahead of us and this title is representative of that."
A designation shared by only 286 digital agencies across the country and one other in Utah, Google awards the Premier Partner status to those who have met their highest performance, expertise and client-success standards. The journey to this achievement has not only consisted of advanced training sessions at Oz Marketing, but recording numbers above national averages.
During the first quarter of 2025, the agency's digital marketing team proved their abilities by hitting certain metrics. These include a view completion rate of 98.95% — which exceeds the automotive dealership industry average of 30-70% — as well as a cost per acquisition average of $14.21, a number that's between $10 to $50 lower than competing dealerships'.
"Our successes trace back to our trend recognition abilities," said Logan Nielsen, digital manager at Oz Marketing. "We've been able to follow the market and track where engagement is highest. This allows us to allocate our clients' funds to endeavors that yield the highest returns."

The premier partner status takes a notable spot on Oz Marketing's resume — a list that includes 11 Telly Awards for outstanding commercials as well as a Best PR Campaign accolade from the 2024 Utah Business Sales and Marketer of the Year ceremony. For the last two years, the agency has been represented as one of MountainWest Capital Network's Utah 100, setting them apart as one of the fastest growing companies in the state.
"What I've loved seeing on the Utah 100 hasn't so much been our presence, but the Young Automotive Group's rise within the Top 15 Revenue Growth Companies' list," Draper said. "In 2023, they took ninth place and last year took fifth. It shows that we grow as our clients grow, and that's exactly how it should be."
Located on Main Street in Layton, Oz Marketing's office is composed of production, design, digital marketing, organic social media, co-op, account representative, accounting, public relations and mass media departments.
Oliver Young, the Young Automotive Group's innovations director, serves as the agency's owner and founder. Though they began by working solely on projects for the dealership chain, Oz Marketing expanded their client list to include noteworthy companies from the financial services and recreational vehicle industries.
While promoting the Young Automotive Group's 100-year anniversary in 2024, the agency was able to complete approximately 3,500 design projects, bolster social media page followings by an average of 160%, increase year-over-year leads on average by 9% and feature the Young Automotive Group in an article over 60 times throughout the year.
"Every entrepreneur crafts a vision of what their company will look like in 10 years. My expectations were high, but it's still a bit unbelievable to see where we're at today," Young said. "We've amassed an incredible amount of talent here, and I'm grateful for the growth we've experienced."

In addition to being featured on a list of Google's Premier Partners, Oz Marketing will be provided with new opportunities from the search engine — allowing them to deliver results that few others are capable of. The distinction will be a talking point as they engage with more clients and continue their growth as one of Utah's elite agencies.
