LOS ANGELES — JuJu Watkins scored 22 points and top-seeded Southern California led all the way in beating 16th-seeded UNC Greensboro 71-25 to open March Madness. The Trojans advanced to the second round at Galen Center. The Trojans blew the game open in the second quarter, reeling off 16 straight points, including six by Watkins, to lead 28-11 at halftime. Watkins appeared to hurt her left hand early in the Trojans' big run. Then in the third quarter she came up limping on her left leg and briefly shook it off to hit a 3-pointer before sitting down. Watkins returned briefly in the fourth and then joined most of the other starters on the bench.
