GAINESVILLE. Fla. — Nick Boyd, Johnell Davis, Vladislav Goldin and Alijah Martin will have a pseudo reunion in the NCAA Tournament. The former Florida Atlantic starters, who carried the Owls to the Final Four in 2023, scattered across the country after coach Dusty May left for Michigan last year. They landed on the same side of the bracket Sunday, meaning the close friends don't have a chance to square off in the Final Four. They'd gladly settle for Elite Eight matchups. Boyd would "love to compete against any of them." He is now at 11th-seeded San Diego State. Davis plays for 10th-seeded Arkansas. Martin is at No. 1 seed Florida. Goldin followed May to Michigan and is a 5 seed.
