HARDWOOD HOLE-IN-ONE — Texas Tech may not have gotten the win over Houston in a basketball game Monday night in Lubbock, but one fan definitely walked away with a win.
In the first quarter of the ranked Big 12 matchup, a timeout game challenged a fan to make a 94-foot putt from baseline to baseline to win a new pair of AirPods Max.
The attempt was successful, and the fan immediately ran to center court, where he was met by Texas Tech alum and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in an airborne shoulder-bump celebration.

The Red Raiders went on to lose to the No. 4 Houston Cougars 69-61 to fall to 21-8 on the season.
