MONTREAL — Matthew Tkachuk left the United States' 4 Nations Face-Off victory over Canada because of what coach Mike Sullivan called a lower-body injury. After the 3-1 victory, Sullivan said he did not have much more information than that. Tkachuk brushed off the injury despite playing just 1:13 in the third period and not at all in the final 12 minutes of the game. The U.S. wrapped up a spot in the 4 Nations final on Thursday night in Boston, so the Sullivan could opt to rest Tkachuk on Monday in the round-robin finale against Sweden that has no bearing on the outcome of the NHL-run international tournament.
