GIRONA, Spain — Substitute Borja Mayoral has scored within seconds of taking the field to give Getafe a 2-1 win away at Girona in La Liga. Poor defending allowed Getafe to take the lead in the third minute through Christantus Uche on Friday. Venezuelan Yangel Herrera equalized for Girona early in the second half. He was sent off in the 73rd minute but only after Mayoral put Getafe back in the lead with a poacher's goal. The win lifts Getafe three places into 11th. Girona remains eighth.
