BEAUMONT, Texas — Led by Alexis Marmolejos' 19 points, the Lamar Cardinals defeated the UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros 70-68. The Cardinals moved to 14-10 with the victory and the Vaqueros dropped to 13-11.
