MINNEAPOLIS — Anthony Edwards has been playing up to his superstar status for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He totaled 90 points over two wins on back-to-back days with the Timberwolves missing two key contributors and searching for a mid-winter spark. Edwards in the process of helping beat Chicago and Houston became the youngest NBA player to reach 1,000 career made 3-pointers. He also set the franchise record with his 14th game of 40-plus points to pass Karl-Anthony Towns. Edwards is shooting a career-best 42.1% from 3-point range. He has also taken on a greater leadership role for Minnesota.
