ARLINGTON, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys were officially eliminated from the playoff contention before kicking off their game. They then went out and made owner Jerry Jones proud, with a 26-24 victory Sunday night over the playoff-chasing Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There have been lingering questions about the future of coach Mike McCarthy with him being on an expiring contract. The Cowboys won for the fourth time in their last five games, all since a five-game losing streak. Jones says McCarthy just won't let his team not think they're playing for the Super Bowl out there. The Cowboys are 7-8 with two games remaining.
