Atalanta tops Serie A after late win over AC Milan while Inter goes 13 games unbeaten

MILAN, Italy — Atalanta has gone to the top of Serie A thanks to a late win against visiting AC Milan. The ninth league win in a row for the Bergamo club came courtesy of an 87th-minute header from Ademola Lookman on Friday. Charles De Ketelaere gave Atalanta an early lead only for Álvaro Morata to equalize midway through the first half. Earlier in the night, reigning champion Inter extended its unbeaten run to 13 games with a comfortable 3-1 win over Parma. Federico Dimarco, Nicolò Barella, and Marcos Thuram scored for Milan. Parma got a late consolation with Matteo Darmian's own goal.
