WILMINGTON, N.C. — Led by Donovan Newby's 16 points, the UNC Wilmington Seahawks defeated the Appalachian State Mountaineers 76-61 on Saturday night. The Seahawks are now 5-2 on the season, while the Mountaineers fell to 5-3.
