SAN JOSE, Calif. — Klim Kostin recorded a Gordie Howe hat trick with a goal, assist and a fight, and the San Jose Sharks beat the Seattle Kraken 8-5 on Friday. Seven different Sharks scored goals, and four – Kostin, Macklin Celebrini, Mikael Granlund and Will Smith – had a goal and an assist. San Jose had three straight goals in the second by Jake Walman, Granlund and Celebrini, taking a 6-4 lead after Smith and Wright scored to begin the period. Yanni Gourde cut the deficit in half for Seattle with a goal near the end of the period.
