PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Nick Herbig is quickly making a name for himself in the NFL. Herbig picked up two sacks while filling in for the injured Alex Highsmith in a 20-10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3. Herbig is somewhat undersized for an outside linebacker at 6-foot-2 and 240 pounds. Herbig says he grew up with a fighter's mentality because he had to prove himself to older brothers Jake and Nate. The Hawaii native could make his first NFL start when unbeaten Pittsburgh travels to Indianapolis in Week 4.
