Hollywood bosses are so impressed with the upcoming SPIDER-MAN sequel - they are already planning a third installment of the web-slinging comic-book franchise.

SPIDER-MAN 2 is not due to hit cinema screens until July (04), but SONY PICTURES are so confident they can repeat the success of the smash hit original, they have already announced there will be a third.

SPIDER-MAN, which starred Hollywood hunk TOBEY MAGUIRE and blonde bombshell KIRSTEN DUNST and was directed by SAM RAIMI, earned $800 million (£421 million) at the box office last year (03).

Sony have confirmed that work on Spider-Man 3 is underway but a script has yet to be written and no actors or director has signed for the project. (WVD/WNWCCB/IG) SPOILER ALERT
