EAGAN, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings have finally assembled a proven group of cornerbacks after a series of setbacks. Stephon Gilmore was the latest and biggest catch. The Vikings signed the 13-year veteran Gilmore to a one-year, $10 million contract with $7 million guaranteed. The five-time Pro Bowl pick and 2019 AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year was on the field for practice with his fifth team in the past five seasons. None of those teams has needed him more than Minnesota. He's the fifth cornerback the team has added since training camp began.
