CLEVELAND — Nick Mullens threw a touchdown pass on the heels of Minnesota's quarterback rotation getting jumbled this week by J.J McCarthy's injury and the Vikings beat the Cleveland Browns 27-12 in an exhibition. Mullens connected with Trishton Jackson on a 14-yard TD in the first quarter for the Vikings. Jaren Hall had two TD passes in the second half for Minnesota. Mullens moved up the depth chart behind Sam Darnold earlier this week when McCarthy's season ended following knee surgery. Darnold didn't play and neither did Browns starter Deshaun Watson, who'll make his return next week at Seattle after last season was ended by a shoulder injury.
