SAINT-DENIS, France — Miltiadis Tentoglou of Greece has become only the second man after Carl Lewis to retain an Olympic long jump title. Tentoglou added the gold at the Paris Games on Tuesday night to his Olympic title in Tokyo three years ago. Lewis secured four Olympic long jump titles between 1984 and 1996. Tentoglou is 26 and has long-term plans that include the 2028 Los Angeles Games. Tentoglou's second jump of 8.48 meters won it. Wayne Pinnock of Jamaica claimed silver with a leap of 8.36 and Mattia Furlani of Italy took the bronze with 8.34.
