PARIS — Novak Djokovic has completed his resume with an Olympic gold at long last, and Zheng Qinwen has taken her first big step to stardom by earning China's first Summer Games tennis singles title. Now the sport gets set to make a quick shift from the clay of Roland Garros to the hard courts of Flushing Meadows, where the U.S. Open begins on Aug. 26. Djokovic is the defending men's champ there and would love to add Grand Slam title No. 25 to his collection. Zheng says she can play a lot more relaxed now. It's unclear whether Rafael Nadal will be in New York. And Coco Gauff will return to the site of her first major trophy after early exits in three Olympic events.
