EAGAN, Minn. — Will Reichard has more points than any other player in college football history. He presented the Minnesota Vikings a draft-worthy prospect in their ongoing quest for place kicking stability. His experience at a storied powerhouse program in Alabama stood out among his attributes. Being able to handle the pressure is a vital trait for succeeding in the NFL. That particularly goes for a team like the Vikings with their history of kicking fails. The Vikings drafted Reichard in the sixth round with the 203rd overall selection. They officially made the job his this week when they waived John Parker Romo.
