SAINT-QUENTIN-EN-YVELINES, France — Stephan Jaeger sure knows how to make a first impression. Xander Schauffele recalls the time Jaeger shot a 58 on the Korn Ferry Tour. His high school teammates at private Baylor School in Chattanooga recall a German teenager getting off the plane and shooting a 68 at the toughest course in Tennessee. It's been an unusual route for a kid from Munich whose Olympic memories are of the Winter Games. Jaeger won his first PGA Tour title this year by taking down Scottie Scheffler. His breakthrough year in golf now includes his debut in the Olympics.
