PARIS — Olympic cyclists have been unimpressed with some of the surfaces they are racing on at the Paris Games. Remco Evenepoel used an expletive to describe the streets of Paris, where the men's and women's time trial took place on Saturday, while Nino Schurter was worried about the loose gravel on the man-made mountain bike course at nearby Elancourt Hill. The women's mountain bike race is Sunday while Schurter, a former Olympic champion, and the rest of the men race on Monday.
