WASHINGTON — A half-dozen times during the baseball season, Nationals Park is home to a different kind of sport activity: high intensity interval training for members of the military on the field, in bullpens and on stadium stairs. The program the Nationals began in 2022 has attracted more than 700 participants over four workouts this year, including 150 this week. Those behind it and involved in Base HIIT find it the perfect way for servicemembers to train and use the field for a unique experience.
