SUVA, Fiji — Two-time Olympic champion Jerry Tuwai has been recalled by Fiji coach and former captain Osea Kolinisau in the Pacific island nation's bid for a rugby sevens three-peat in Paris. Kolinisau led Fiji to its first ever Olympic gold medal when the rugby sevens format made its debut at the Rio Summer Games in 2016. He was drafted in to coach the men's national sevens squad earlier this year when it was struggling in the world series. Now he's calling on the experience of his past teammate, 35-year-old Tuwai, to help fulfill a nation's expectations. Sesenieli Donu has overcome a long-term knee injury to earn a spot in the Fijiana squad for the Olympic women's competition.
