PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. — The Associated Press interviewed 22 players during the Hawaii swing on PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan and how he has handled the threat of the Saudi-backers of LIV Golf. The interviews took place before the PGA Tour announced a $3 billion investment deal with Strategic Sports Group. They were asked if the outcome of negotiations with the Saudis and private investors would determine whether they felt he should stay.
