CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The U.S. Women's Open already has the biggest purse in women's golf. Now it's getting bigger. The prize fund will be $12 million this year at Lancaster Country Club in Pennsylvania. The boost is a product of a new sponsorship. The USGA has a corporate deal with Ally Financial. It will be an official marketing partner with the USGA, U.S. Open and U.S. Women's Open. And it will be the presenting sponsor of the U.S. Women's Open. Ally also announced a sponsorship with Lilia Vu. She won two majors last year and was the LPGA player of the year.
