WASHINGTON — Adam Gaudette is back in the NHL with the St. Louis Blues after more than a year and a half in the minors. The one-time top prospect played his first game in the league since April 2022 when the Blues lost to the Washington Capitals on Thursday night. Gaudette is now on his fifth organization following trades from Vancouver to Chicago to Ottawa and then from Toronto to St. Louis. The 27-year-old leads the American Hockey League this season with 24 goals and ranks third with 36 points. Blues interim coach Drew Bannister hopes Gaudette can bring some scoring punch.
