Dillon Jones scores 26 as Weber State takes down Oral Roberts 83-78

TULSA, Okla. — Dillon Jones had 26 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for his 10th double-double of the year in Weber State's 83-78 victory against Oral Roberts on Saturday night.

Dyson Koehler added 17 points for the Wildcats (11-4, 2-0). Blaise Threatt was 4-of-7 shooting and 5 of 6 from the free throw line to finish with 13 points. It was the sixth-straight win for the Wildcats.

The Golden Eagles (7-8) were led in scoring by Issac McBride, who finished with 29 points. Sir Issac Herron added 13 points and seven rebounds for Oral Roberts. Jailen Bedford also had 12 points and seven rebounds in the Eagles' first home loss in 21 games, the longest home winning streak in the nation.

The Wildcats return to Big Sky play with two road games next week at Sacramento State on Thursday and Portland State on Saturday.

The next Wildcat home game is on January 18 against Eastern Washington.
