NORFOLK, Va. — Diamond Johnson has many accolades in women's college basketball. Her path is what separates her. After starting her college career at Rutgers and then transferring to North Carolina State, she opted to move again last offseason. She is now the point guard for Norfolk State, a defending Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference champion with designs on bigger things. It was an unusual move for an Atlantic Coast Conference star, transferring to an HBCU. She and the Spartans are thinking big things as the season approaches.
