EAGAN, Minn. — Minnesota safety Camryn Bynum won the NFC Defensive Player of the Week award after two interceptions in the final 5½ minutes of the game that helped the Vikings preserve a victory over San Francisco. Bynum leads all NFL defensive backs with 69 tackles. His standout performance on a prime-time stage also gave him a larger-than-normal place in the spotlight. He seized the opportunity to spread the word about his quest to reunite with his wife, Lalaine. She lives in the Philippines and has never visited the U.S. Her first two visa applications were denied.
