NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Georgia preseason All-American tight end Brock Bowers hurt his left foot midway through the second quarter Saturday against Vanderbilt. The injury knocked him out of the rest of the No. 1 Bulldogs' game. Coach Kirby Smart said after the 37-20 win that Bowers has a sprained ankle, citing X-rays that were negative, though they didn't know how severe it was. Bowers will have an MRI. He was hurt at the end of a 14-yard gain on an end-around.
