SALT LAKE CITY — The first week of college football is in the books, and what a week it was.
Outside of the LSU-Florida State game, the results last weekend seemed to go in most people's favor. But for the 73% of people that picked the Tigers to win, a perfect weekend was off the table. For the lucky 27% who picked the Seminoles, you took a big step in the leaderboard (assuming you also chose wisely in the other four games).
Three lucky people — two Utah fans and one BYU fan — came out on top in this week's leaderboard. Utah fan Jeff Hayek finished the week undefeated and with a commanding 219 points, beating out BYU fan Debbie Carlisle (206 points) and Utah fan Isaac Reaveley (196 points).
Congrats to our winners, who will get a $100, $70 and $30 Visa gift card, respectively, courtesy of Goldenwest Credit Union.
The overall winners of Pick'em this year will receive a $500 gift card for first place, a $250 gift card for second place and a $100 gift card for third place.
