VIETNAM — I don't own a watchdog, but I imagine the best ones share some common characteristics. For example, they're probably obedient and loyal to their owners. They probably have eyes like a hawk and lots of energy. And, of course, they need to have a great bark.
Unfortunately for the owners of the dog in this video, he doesn't seem to possess any of these traits.
Not only does this dog lounge around like he's staying at an all-inclusive resort, but it doesn't even notice when intruders walk right by it.
According to the video description, this incident took place in the city of Tan An, Vietnam, and the alleged thieves not only got past the dog but also got away with some squawking chickens.
"My dog's name is 'ĐỐM,' and he has been really into sleeping on the hammock since he was a puppy," the caption states. "Luckily, everything is fine after all!"
But is everything fine? You're now down a few chickens and you've got a dog that's a burglar's best friend.
