MOUNTAIN GREEN, Morgan County — Troopers have identified the motorcyclist who was killed after a two-vehicle crash on I-84 on Saturday as Travis Reed, 39, of Washington Terrace, Weber County.
At about 7:10 p.m., the motorcyclist and a Porsche were eastbound on I-84. The road began to curve and the motorcyclist was unable to stay in its lane of travel, according to Utah Highway Patrol trooper Quincey Breuer. He said the motorcyclist entered the lane occupied by the Porsche, where the two vehicles collided and the motorcyclist was thrown.
The motorcyclist died from injuries from the crash. Both directions of the road were closed hours while the crash was investigated.
UHP Sgt. Cameron Roden confirmed Reed's identity Monday.
